Hello there! Are you looking for advice on where to sit at the Nathan Burton Magic Show? If so, I can help!
I went to a performance last week and took several photos of the theater.
Today, I’ll show you the inside, including the stage view from each section. And I’ll give you my recommendations, too.
Oh, and FYI: Nathan recently relocated, so I assure you this guide is up-to-date with all the latest info and pictures.
Alright, let’s find you some great seats!
About the Nathan Burton Theater
Nathan Burton just moved his show from the Saxe Theater at Planet Hollywood to inside the FlyOver attraction.
He built a brand-new theater at FlyOver, with the interior designed by his wife, Amie. And let me tell you, she’s done a fantastic job!
The decor is beautiful, with a red and gold color scheme, sparkling chandeliers, and new seating options.
Nathan’s also made some technological improvements. The production now features an enhanced sound system and a high-definition video display.
Although it’s a smaller space than before, it still holds up to 187 people. So, where you sit will make a difference in your experience.
Seating Chart for the Magic Show
Below is a map I made showing the seating chart for the Nathan Burton Magic Show.
There are a few things to keep in mind when reviewing the map:
First, every row is higher than the previous one. This means you’ll have an elevated view unless you sit in the first row of couches.
Second, each row only accommodates ten people. So even if you are sitting next to an aisle, it will feel like you have a center seat with a straight-on view of the stage.
And, then lastly, no matter where you sit, you’ll have a view of the stage.
Sections
Nathan Burton offers four different ticket categories for guests.
- Premium VIP: on the stage
- VIP: behind Premium, in the front of the theater
- GA: seats in the middle back of the room
- GA Rear: last rows, furthest from the magic
Seat Photos & Views
To help you decide on which ticket to get, I took photos of the seats and views in each category.
I hope these will give you a good sense of each section’s distance from the stage.
Let’s start with the highest-priced first.
Premium VIP
- Average cost: $50+ (plus fees)
- Seating type: couches
- Location: stage
Premium VIP is the closest you can get to Nathan Burton and his tricks.
The seating in this category is all couches, and they’re on the stage itself.
You’ll find two rows of red couches on either side of the stage and two rows of shiny gold couches in the center.
A great feature of the couches is that even if you sit in the 2nd row, you’ll be elevated above the sofa in front of you. And you’ll have a footrest for added comfort, too.
But, only guests in the first row will have a table to place their drinks on during the show. That’s not a huge deal, though, as you can always set it on the floor.
This picture shows the red couches on the right side of the theater:
The next photo is of the gold sofas. As you can see, they’re much longer than the red couches, spanning the width of the stage:
And here’s the stage view from behind the second row of gold couches:
VIP
- Average cost: $40+ (plus fees)
- Seating type: chairs
- Location: rows B-G
VIP seating is behind the Premium Couches.
The chairs here are all movie theater-style with armrests and plenty of legroom. You’ll also have access to a cupholder, starting in row C.
Here’s an example of the sightline from a VIP chair in E, at seat number 10:
This next picture shows the view from my seat from row C, sitting in chair number 2. I thought we had a fantastic view:
General Admission
- Average cost: $30+ (plus fees)
- Seating type: chairs
- Location: rows H-L
General Admission is in the middle back of the showroom. With a ticket in this area, you won’t see the tricks up close.
But I think this section still offers a decent view since many of Nathan’s illusions involve large props.
The following image is an example of the line of sight from the general admission section. I’m standing in row J here, near seat number 2:
This next picture is from J again, but in the center of the venue at about chair number 5:
General Admission Rear
- Average cost: $20+ (plus fees)
- Seating type: chairs
- Location: rows M-P
The General Admission Rear section is the most affordable ticket option. These seats are in the last four rows of the theater – anywhere from 14 to 17 rows back.
Here’s what the view is like from a GA Rear seat. I took this picture standing in row O next to chair number 9:
My Recommendations: Best Seats
The following recommendations are based on my experience at the performance I attended.
Best Overall
The best Nathan Burton Comedy Magic Show seats are the Premium VIP tickets. And that’s because you get to be on stage with Mr. Burton and see all his tricks close up.
(I don’t know of any other show in town that allows guests on stage, so reserving the Premium VIP section is well worth it!)
You’ll also have the most luxurious spot in the venue: a reserved space on a couch.
Although you can’t choose which one you get, each has its advantages:
The gold couches are in the center, giving you a straight-on view of the action. But the red sofas on the sides will get you the closest possible to the magic.
Either way, these are hands down my favorite seats!
Best Value
Because the cost difference between the tickets is only about $10, I think it’s worth spending a little more for a better location.
And after touring the theater, I thought the location that offered the best value was the VIP section. This is also where I sat when I went.
I did have a head or two in my sightline, but the distance from the stage was just right. I could see Nathan well and had an excellent view of the tricks and props.
Highest Participation
I noticed that guests seated in the Premium VIP and VIP sections got to participate the most. Two went up on stage, and three helped with a trick from their chairs.
So, based on what I observed, you may want to sit in these sections for the highest participation chances.
But even if you don’t get chosen, there are other opportunities for crowd involvement during the show.

My Final Thoughts
Since we couldn’t pick the row and seat, I thought we might land a better location in our category if we got there early.
But when we arrived before the door opening (3:40 pm), the staff had already assigned our seats.
So, just make sure you’re okay sitting in any of the rows of your chosen section. If not, you may want to consider upgrading to be closer.
That said, guests may receive a free category upgrade during the slower months, but you didn’t hear that from me. 😉
