About Nathan Burton

Nathan Burton’s love of magic began in kindergarten when he performed his first trick in front of the class. He knew right then and there that becoming a magician was what he wanted to do.

His dedication eventually landed him on Season 1 of America’s Got Talent, where he made it to the semifinals. After appearing on the show, Nathan caught the attention of the Flamingo Hotel, and they signed a deal to make him a headliner.

In 2012, Nathan moved his Comedy Magic show to the Saxe Theater, and he’s still going strong there today. His production is one of the longest-running and top-rated shows in town. And it’s also one of the only family-run productions on the Strip.

Where Is Nathan Burton’s Vegas Show?

The Nathan Burton Comedy Magic Show is inside the Miracle Mile Shops at the Planet Hollywood Hotel. The address is 3663 S Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109.

The Nathan Burton Comedy Magic show is at the Saxe Theater inside the Miracle Mile Shops. (The show is NOT at the V Theater.)

From planet hollywood main valet

It’s about a seven-minute walk from Planet Hollywood’s main valet to the Saxe Theater. So from the main valet, you’ll enter the hotel lobby and go up the escalator to Level C.

Next, walk through the casino floor and follow signs overhead to the Miracle Mile Shops. Once at the Shops, turn right to walk past Blue Moon Bar, Raider Image, Aldo, and Foot Locker. The entrance to the Saxe Theater will be just after Foot Locker on the right.

From Planet Hollywood Parking garage

Getting from Planet Hollywood’s self-park garage to the Saxe Theater is fast and easy! Enter the Miracle Mile Shops from the parking garage and turn left. You’ll immediately pass by Subway, and the Saxe Theater will be about 400 feet ahead on the left.

Although parking in the garage is super convenient – it’s a little pricey. Currently, 1-4 hours is $15 on Mondays through Thursdays and $20 on Fridays through Sundays. And, unfortunately, there aren’t any parking discounts for locals.

Show Dates & Times

The Nathan Burton Comedy Magic show runs six days a week. So you can catch the show on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The only day Nathan Burton does not perform is Thursdays.

SEE THE SCHEDULE

There’s also only one showtime each day, and that’s at 4:00 pm – which makes this show a fantastic option for families. Or for anyone looking for something fun to do in the afternoon in Vegas!

Discount Tickets

There are four ticket options for the Nathan Burton Magic Show:

  • General Reserved Rear
  • General Reserved
  • VIP
  • Premium VIP
GET DISCOUNT TICKETS

Nathan’s show is well-priced, making it one of the best values for shows in Vegas. On most days, discount ticket prices start around $20 and go up to $50 (plus applicable fees).

Also, you can’t pick your seat number and row in advance – only the seating section, i.e., General Reserved, VIP, etc. So after you buy your tickets online, you can pick them up at the box office a few minutes before the show. And then, you’ll be assigned a seat at that time.

Additionally, if you’re buying through my ticket link above, the VIP ticket options provide free cancellation up to 24 hours before showtime.

Make sure to bring your ID with you when picking up your tickets at the box office.

Nathan Burton Magic Show Seating Chart

Below is a map I made showing the seating chart for the Nathan Burton show. Overall, the theater isn’t that large – roughly 365 seats.

So it’ll feel intimate (at least by Vegas standards, anyway). And no matter where you sit, you’ll have a view of the stage.

  • General Reserved Rear – back rows of the rear section
  • General Reserved – front area of the rear section or back rows of side sections
  • VIP – center section or front area of side sections
  • Premium VIP – front area of the center section

Best Seats

Because the price difference between the seating sections is only about $10, I think it’s worth buying upgraded tickets.

So, in my opinion, the best value seats are VIP. These are the tickets that I got when I went. And because we arrived early, we were seated in the center section of the theater – and it was a phenomenal view!

But, if you want the absolute best seats in the theater, get the Premium VIP tickets. These are seats located in the first five rows of the center section.

SEE TICKET OPTIONS

Also, since all the rows are elevated, you can see above the people in front of you – no matter which row you’re in. So if you want to save money, I still think it’s worth going to the show even if you get General Reserved tickets.

As far as audience participation goes, Nathan doesn’t just interact with guests seated in the Premium VIP seats. Instead, he talks to people in all the sections. At the show I went to, he even chose a child from the General Reserved section to help with a trick.

Nathan also spends a lot of time walking up and down the aisle on the right side of the theater. So if you’re sitting here, you’ll likely get to see him up close and personal!

Based on my experience, getting to the box office early will land you a better seat than arriving right before showtime. So I recommend getting to the box office by 3:45 pm.

On a side note, I also got better seat placement at The Ultimate Variety Show when I arrived early.

Seating Photos

The seats at the Nathan Burton magic show are very comfortable! They all have excellent padding, and there are even cup holders. There’s also adequate legroom.

Below are some pictures I took of the seats at the show so you’ll have a better idea of the seating sections. For instance, this photo shows the General Reserved and General Reserved Rear Seats:

This next photo shows the front section of the theater. Here, you can see the Premium VIP, VIP, and the side seats of the General Reserved section:

What’s The Show Like?

Nathan Burton’s Magic Show is high-energy and fast-paced! And there’s a ton of audience participation – even before the show starts.

SEE TICKET DEALS

For instance, we sang songs together and did silly things like mooing like a cow and barking like a dog. It really got the audience going and made for a lively afternoon!

Although the show’s title has “comedy” in it, and I laughed a lot, Nathan’s show is one magic trick after the next. When I went, I saw some acts from his time on AGT – plus new illusions that he just added this year.

For instance, you might watch it snow inside the theater or see showgirls magically appear inside a glass box. But my favorite was a cell phone trick to a randomly dialed number!

If you’re trying to decide if Nathan Burton is a good fit for you, below is a quick summary of two tricks I saw. I’ll try not to give too much away here. But if you want to be completely surprised at the show, please skip this next section.

Illusion #1: Supermarket Mind-Reading

In this trick, Nathan attempts to read an audience member’s mind. He starts by choosing a guest at random using the free toss method. And the cool part about this trick is that Nathan has already predicted what the person will say before the show begins!

Nathan asks the guest to imagine they’re in a supermarket, walking down an aisle and reaching for a box of cereal. What cereal box will they grab? Special K? Corn Pops?

This trick has a lot of twists and turns, with a surprise ending involving a locked trunk. It’ll make you believe in Nathan’s mind-reading abilities. And I can confidently say that the chosen audience member is NOT a plant!

Illusion #2: Magic Straight Jacket

In this trick, Nathan attempts to escape from a straight jacket – just like Houdini used to do. But with Nathan’s illusion, the jacket is see-through!

So while he performs the trick, you can see that there aren’t any hidden tools to help him get out. And because it’s clear, you’ll get to watch Nathan’s movements as he tries to take it off his body.

Nathan also selects an audience member to buckle the straps and ensure he’s securely in the jacket. So that way, you’ll know there’s no funny business going on.

Will Nathan escape before the song is over? I guess you’ll have to go to the show and find out!

Where Are The Restrooms?

There aren’t any restrooms inside the Saxe Theater, but some excellent ones are around the corner. I recommend using these before getting seated because you won’t want to leave after the Nathan Burton show starts!

Conclusion

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the Nathan Burton Comedy Magic show. For the price, it’s an excellent value. And when I went, I got to see a lot of tricks – 24 in total!

Nathan does some pretty impressive illusions that you’ve likely never seen before. But he also performs more traditional magic acts. Some of the tricks Nathan does are similar to other shows in Vegas, too – like Shin Lim’s Limitless.

I also loved how Nathan got the crowd going even before the show started. I had a blast doing silly things, and there was even an audience kiss cam!

Overall, I think the Nathan Burton show is an excellent choice for families and adults – if you want to see magic. After all, it was recently voted the #1 Afternoon Magic Show. 🤍
