If you’re considering going to the new Spice Wannabe show in Las Vegas, then you probably want to know:
Will it feel like I’m at a real Spice Girls concert from the ’90s?
And the answer to that is: Yes, it will!
I saw the show last month with my best friend. Not only did it feel like we were transported back in time, but it was packed with girl power and positivity.🤍
However, I have one regret that would’ve made it much better.
So, in today’s review, I’ll share how to get the most out of your experience. I’ll also give you the song list, a video sneak peek, and all my tips!

About The Spice Wannabe Tribute
The Spice Wannabe Tribute is a Spice Girls impersonation show at the Excalibur.
The “Wannabe” ladies really sing and give it their all. They look and sound just like the originals, too – right down to their accents.
But you won’t just hear your favorite Spice Girls songs from the ’90s at this production.
You’ll also have the chance to interact with the performers (they’re super friendly, by the way). And even learn some of the choreography.
What’s more, this production has a big surprise in store: a Spice Boys dance crew!
Sneak Peek: Preview Video
Below is a two-minute video I made from the footage I captured at Spice Wannabe.
I tried to include different aspects to give you a better idea of what it’s like.
As always, please don’t watch this if you want to be completely surprised!
Cost & Value For The Money
Spice Wannabe is a mid-priced Las Vegas show. On average, ticket prices run $50 to $80 per person after fees and sales tax.
Tickets range in cost because it depends on where you sit in the showroom.
Of all the ticket categories, I think Category B offers the best value and the most room to dance.
How Long Is The Spice Wannabe Show?
Although I’ve seen it advertised as lasting 70 minutes, the show I went to was almost exactly one hour. (It started at 6:08 pm and went until 7:10 pm.)
So, based on my experience, you can expect the performance to last at least 60 minutes.
That said, although it was only an hour when I was there, it felt much longer. We heard a lot of songs and felt like we got to experience the Spice Girls Tribute fully.
When To Arrive
I recommend arriving a few minutes early in case they do start on time. And that’s because there is NO opening act.
I saw one group arrive 30 minutes late, thinking they’d get there when the Spice Girls took the stage. Instead, they ended up missing half the concert.
Location: Thunderland Showroom
The production takes place at the Thunderland Showroom inside Excalibur. And to be completely honest with you – it’s not my favorite venue.
It’s not that the seats themselves are bad (they’re pretty comfortable). But how the tables are set up makes it harder to see than it needs to be.
For instance, many of the tables are perpendicular to the stage – with the chairs all in a straight line. It’s difficult to explain, so here’s a picture that will help:
One good thing about this venue, though, is that there are two stages. There’s the main stage at the front and a smaller one in the center.
This is great because guests seated behind the first row will still get an up-close view when the cast performs on the middle stage.
Songs List
Below is the complete list of songs I heard at Spice Wannabe in the order in which they were performed.
I thought it was fantastic that they also included songs that everyone is sure to know, even if you’re not a Spice Girls fan.
1. Spice Up Your Life
2. Do It
3. Love Thing
4. Too Much
5. The Lady Is A Vamp
6. Say You’ll Be There
7. 2 Become 1
8. Viva Forever
(Spice Boys Dance To The Humpty Dance)
9. Who Do You Think You Are
10. Mama
11. Celebration
12. That’s The Way (I Like It)
13. Sound Off
14. Wannabe
Participation Opportunities
Wannabe offers many opportunities for audience participation.
Although I didn’t see any guests get to go on stage, the ladies encouraged everyone to stand up and dance – anytime they felt like it.
There were also lots of chances to cheer on our favorite Spice Girl and sing along.
But my favorite part was when they had us all learn the choreography of the song “Stop.”
(If you want to practice the dance moves before you go, check out my video above, starting at the 0:34 second mark.)
My Rating
My rating for this production depends on how big of a fan you are. If you loved the Spice Girls growing up, I think you’ll really enjoy it and appreciate the performance.
I’ll even say you’ll likely give it 4.5 (or higher) out of 5.0 stars!
But how much you enjoy it will also depend on how much effort you put into it. If you’re up out of your seat dancing and singing, it’ll be way more fun.
If you sit back and observe, you won’t get as much out of the experience. And you likely won’t rate it quite as favorably, either.
I, unfortunately, fell into the latter category and regretted not participating more. I still had a good time, just not as good as it could have been!
Pros: What I Enjoyed The Most
Here are two aspects of the production that really stood out to me.
Cast Attention
I was so impressed with how much attention and energy the ladies gave the crowd.
They were often in the audience, going from table to table, giving high fives, and dancing with guests. (It actually felt like they were our friends!)
There was even one time when they stopped everything and went around the room to meet people. I’ve never seen that happen at a Vegas performance before.
Spice Boys
The Spice Boys were one of the best surprises of the night. Their dance moves took the show up a notch, adding more interest to the performances.
The guys also really made it feel like a party in the showroom. They danced on the tables and jumped from the stage into the crowd. (So look out if you’re sitting at tables 3-5!)
Cons: What Could Be Improved
Here are two changes that I think would make the show even better.
More Time To Learn The Moves
I thought it was great the ladies had everyone stand up and learn the choreography for the song, Stop.
But, even though I have a dance background and the moves were pretty simple, we only got to rehearse once before the song started.
Unfortunately, I found it too hard to catch on doing it one time. So I would’ve loved it if we had gotten to practice two or three times instead.
Also, it would have been more fun if the crowd had been encouraged to dance throughout the song rather than just at the beginning.
Boost The Crowd’s Energy Level
Although this doesn’t have anything to do with the production itself, I wish the audience would’ve had more energy earlier on.
People seemed to “wake up” about halfway through.
The show gets WAY better with the more energy the audience has. And it only takes a few people to get the crowd going.
Just asking everyone to stand up before it started would have made a big difference in participation and gotten the party started faster.
More Things To Know About The Show
In this next section, you’ll find information about what to wear, what drinks are available, and how to meet the Wannabes!
What To Wear To The Spice Girls In Las Vegas
You’re welcome (and encouraged) to dress up like your favorite Spice Girl.
But just so you know, based on what I saw, most people didn’t wear complete Spice Girls ensembles.
Instead, guests wore one piece of clothing that was a nod to the ladies. Or they had their hair styled similarly.
For instance, one woman wore a leopard print top like Scary (I actually did, too). Others had hair in pigtails like Baby or buns like Mel B.
Beverage Menu
No outside food or drinks are allowed at the show. But there is a bar in the theater where you can get beverages.
Servers will also stop by your table to take your order before it starts.
Below is a photo I took of the menu when I was there. Please note that prices and offerings are subject to change.
Meet & Greet At Excalibur
After the show, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the cast.
But unlike other Las Vegas shows, this meet-and-greet is an “add-on” option.
Currently, the price is $20 per group, and you can purchase it at your table by scanning the QR code.
The experience includes going on stage to meet the Spice Wannabes. You’ll also be able to take photos and videos to share on social media.
And you’ll get an autographed lanyard to take home with you. (The autographs are from the Wannabe girls, not the original girl group.)

Final Thoughts: Is It Worth Going?
I was never the biggest Spice Girls fan, but I used to love the song “Wannabe.”
So, I still had fun, but I know my experience wasn’t as good as other guests, who were die-hard fans. (You could tell they were having the time of their lives!)
Had I participated more, though, I would have had an even better time. And really, that’s my biggest regret.
I wish I would’ve let loose and danced my heart out!
So, to ensure that you’ll feel like it’s worth the money, I recommend refreshing your memory of the songs before you go (if needed) and practicing those dance moves.
Then – when you’re there – get out of your seat right when it starts.
The show gets exponentially better the more energy the audience has. And, in my opinion, how much you participate will literally make or break it for you!
