I just saw Colin Cloud’s new show, Mastermind, last month and loved it. But if I could do it again, I would pick a different seat with a bit more space.
So, in this guide, I’ll show you where to sit to maximize your view and comfort. I’ll also share the locations that will likely give you the highest chance to participate.
Don’t worry; I won’t “misdirect” you. These recommendations are all based on my first-hand experience! 🙂
About Harrah’s Showroom
Colin Cloud performs at Harrah’s Cabaret inside Harrah’s Las Vegas. It’s a small to medium-sized venue that has an intimate feel.
With 296 seats at Mastermind, you can choose from a bench or chair. Additionally, there are tables near every seat for your drinks.
You’ll also be fairly close to the stage, no matter where you sit, so you won’t need to look at any screens.
But, the theater setup is much longer from side to side, which makes it pretty narrow. This results in several seats on the sides and a few tight spots near the front.
Seating Chart for Colin Cloud’s Show
Below is the Colin Cloud seating chart for his new show at Harrah’s.
Mastermind offers tickets at three pricing levels. Price Level 1 (P1) costs the most, followed by Price Level 2 (P2), and then Price Level 3 (P3).
Also, when I was there, the tables at the ends of section A curved somewhat around the stage.
So, just know that you may occasionally have a profile view of Colin if you sit at tables A4, A9, A21, or A26.
Pictures: Seat Views
Before the show began, I took pictures of the view from various locations in all three pricing categories.
I’ve included these below, along with a description of the seating options at each price point.
As you’ll see, Colin is on the stage in my pictures. So, you can look at him in each image to get a better sense of how far away you’ll be if you choose that spot.
Price Level 1
Price Level 1 has 114 ticket options available. With so many seats, the views and proximity to the stage in this section vary greatly!
In P1, you can select a seat in the first two rows of A or get center seats in rows B or C.
The two rows of A have small round tables with four chairs at each location. Row B has padded bench seating and row C has larger rectangular tables with chairs.
Here’s what the sightline is like from table A10, seat 1:
This next photo shows the view from my seat in the front at A18, chair 2. You can touch the stage from here – it’s that close:
The following photo is the line of sight from row C, table C5.
As you can tell from the image, section C is up higher than rows A and B. So you’ll have a great view of the stage from here:
Price Level 2
Price Level 2 is not as close as Price Level 1, but a few spots are still near the middle of the room.
In this category, you can choose bench seating on the sides of row B or in the center of row D. There are also some chairs at the rectangular tables in rows C and E.
The following photo shows what the padded bench looks like. It’s similar to a booth with a well-cushioned back and seat:
This next image is a sightline example in Price Level 2. I took this sitting on the bench at table B12:
Moving up to C, this picture is the view from table C8, another Price Level 2 ticket:
Price Level 3
Price Level 3 is the most affordable option for Colin Cloud’s show.
Seating here is limited to the tables on the edges of the room in rows C, D, and E. Or you can also choose any chair in the last row (F).
This picture shows the line of sight from C1 at chair number 5:
I had to take this next photo after the performance. Hopefully, it will still give you an idea of the sightline from the back of the room.
This image is from chair 3 at table E1, also a P3 ticket:
My Recommendations
Below are a few seating suggestions based on my experience at Mastermind.
Best Seats
After attending the show, I think tables B7-B9 in the P1 category are the best seats.
Sitting there, you’ll have an excellent viewing angle to catch the action on both sides of the stage. You’ll also have the most cushioned seat in the venue with plenty of legroom.
Additionally, your table will be in front of you, making accessing your drink much easier.
Great Value at Colin Cloud
In my opinion, the tickets that offer the best value are seats at table numbers B5 and B11.
These are still on the lower level, not too far over on the sides, and priced right in the middle.
They’re also only a foot or two from P1 seating, so it’s like you’re in the highest-priced section, but you’re saving about $10 a ticket.
Most Participation
The selection process at Colin’s show is random, so I can’t 100% guarantee which seating categories will have more participation chances.
But what I can tell you is this:
Based on what I saw, the following are the locations of the people who participated the most.
- Almost everyone sitting in the front row helped out with a trick in some way. For instance, three guests in the first row of A got to go on stage, while almost everyone at A6-A19 assisted from their chairs.
- The second row of A had the most “volunteers” for on-stage participation. But these guests were more in the middle of the room.
- I also noticed that people seated in chairs 1 and 2 at tables in the center of row C got to be involved.
Locations You May Want to Avoid
Front Row
I sat in the first row, and although I enjoyed not having anyone in front of me, I found it pretty tight.
I’m tallish, and I hardly had any legroom. Also, the table pressed into my side the entire time, making it a bit uncomfortable.
So, if you want to sit here for the view, don’t do what I did and try to squeeze yourself in based on where the chairs are.
Instead, arrive early and move the chair (as much as you can) before you sit down so you have adequate space.
Here’s a picture I took that shows how close the tables are to the stage in the front:
Row C & E Chairs That Face Away From the Stage
Row C and E have long rectangular tables that seat up to six guests. However, they’re at a right angle to the stage.
This means that guests seated on one side will have a decent view of Colin – while guests on the opposite side may need to turn around to see.
So, if you want to get tickets in section C, I’d select chair numbers 1, 3, or 5 at C1-C4 or chair numbers 2, 4, or 6 at C7-C10.
It’s the same for E – opt for chairs 1, 3, or 5 at tables E1-E4 or 2, 4, and 6 at E7-E10.
(Tables C5, C6, E5, and E6 are in the middle of the room, so those chairs are better positioned.)

My Final Thoughts
I went to see Colin’s new production on a Tuesday night, and the place was packed. In fact, it was almost sold out!
So, because of his popularity, I recommend getting tickets a week to two weeks in advance. That way, you’ll get the location you want (or at least close to it).
But the theater is small enough that I think you’ll have a great time no matter where you sit. So, if you can go – even at the last minute – I recommend checking it out!
